As for the race, it actually makes sense. For distances of a mile or less, the heat and humidity seems to make little difference -- I have to be going about 7 or 8 minutes before I start to fry.

So, if we're going to have a weekend where the tempo and long run are going to be compromised because of the conditions, then it's the perfect time to take another shot at the mile (which would also compromise my tempo and long run).AKA Darkwave, AKA Anarcha, AKA Cris.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09873516028463495708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3415039431326089985.post-23872730810480732722011-07-18T11:43:55.989-07:002011-07-18T11:43:55.989-07:00haha, I love your rationale of might as well race ...haha, I love your rationale of might as well race if it's too hot to run. :)

Great seeing you TWICE last week. Don't worry about the heels - now that you are aware of it you'll be more conscious about it - I think we all get a little dizzy in the heat!~ jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01939888549275867805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3415039431326089985.post-91246316696138950292011-07-17T12:57:33.793-07:002011-07-17T12:57:33.793-07:00Fantastic!
