Or maybe to turn it around; did Front242 so completely define EBM that everyone that comes after sounds painfully derivative?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3415039431326089985.post-60756632661598384552012-03-22T13:10:54.628-07:002012-03-22T13:10:54.628-07:00What a timely post for me in light of recent devel...What a timely post for me in light of recent developments! I think that the song type depends on the workout. I like "power songs" for pool intervals or any quick hard effort. For a long run, more "chill" songs are good. :-)Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06265175590096078175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3415039431326089985.post-78133179187624391882012-03-22T09:46:11.344-07:002012-03-22T09:46:11.344-07:00also, I've had a similar experience - as I'...also, I've had a similar experience - as I've been in IM training I've put increasingly more mellow music on my ipod (when I listen to it at all - rare) and retired the pump em up crap except for races.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10004930640458109084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3415039431326089985.post-23605566559980970172012-03-22T09:44:34.541-07:002012-03-22T09:44:34.541-07:00I admit to never having heard of Taktical Sekt but...I admit to never having heard of Taktical Sekt but that song is killer. The power song as you call it is the thing that relaxes me. It focuses me too so that I can be more efficient and perform better. I don't need it all the time, but it's key at certain moments it's exactly the right thing to help me get my head out of my ass and focus on what's really important. And I don't just mean that in running.amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11615930655820867299noreply@blogger.com
