Training log - Week ending 11/17/19

This week was 41 miles of running, 16 "miles" of pool-running, and a whole lotta shoulder rehab work -- training log is here.

Just a placeholder for race week.



Dailies

Monday:  7 "miles" pool-running with the belt

Tuesday: 8 miles, including a track workout of 4x800 in 3:02, 3:02, 3:01, 3:02 (recoveries between 2:07 and 2:19).  Followed with light leg injury prevention work.  Sports massage in afternoon.

Wednesday: 4 miles (8:50) plus 2 uphill strides and then some limited strengthwork (what the shoulder would allow).

Thursday: 3 "miles" pool-running, DIY yoga, and a cortisone shot.

Friday:  2 miles (9:09) plus drills and two uphill strides and DIY yoga.

Saturday: 1200m warm-up and Richmond Marathon in 3:03:37

Sunday: 6 "miles" pool-running with the belt.
