Training log - Week ending 6/18/2023

This week was 37 miles of running and 13 "miles" of pool-running -- training log is here.

Just a placeholder for race week.

Monday: 70 minutes pool-running. Foam rolling at night. 

Tuesday: 10 miles, including a track workout of 4x800 in 3:27, 3:25, 3:22, 3:17 (took long recoveries, since I was testing different pairs of shoes).  Followed with leg strengthwork.  Foam rolling at night. 

Wednesday: 7 miles very easy (9:38) with drills and strides and upper body weights/core.  Foam rolling at night.

Thursday: Off

Friday: 6 miles very easy (9:32) plus drills and strides.  

Saturday: 1.5 mile warm-up and half-marathon in 1:35:30.

Sunday: 60 minutes pool-running
