Training log - Week ending 1/15/2023

This week was 55 miles of running and 6 "miles" of pool-running -- training log is here.

Just a place holder for race week.

Monday: Upper body weights/core and 6 "miles" pool-running.   Foam rolling at night. 

Tuesday: 8 miles including a track workout of 2x1200, 2x800, 400 in 5:44, 5:19, 3:24, 3:19, 1:33, with long recoveries between each.   Foam rolling in evening.

Wednesday: 9 miles very easy (9:34); yoga midday.  Massage in evening.

Thursday: 7 miles, including 1600m in 7:25; followed with drills and light upper body weights/core.  Foam rolling in evening.

Friday: Off.  Just travel and some foam rolling. 

Saturday: 4 miles very easy (9:50) plus drills.  Foam rolling in afternoon.

Sunday: .75 mile shakeout and then Houston Marathon in 3:26:24
